Allow me to create templates for evaluation-type documents so the same sections will be displayed every time. Or, allow me to customize my documentation further by allowing me to create evaluation sections.

Submit claims with attachments
Allow me the option to submit a claim with attachments, such as the supporting documentation (e.g. document, home activities). Sending this information all together will save time and reduce potential mistakes with mismatching items.

Create alternative documents in Fusion
Add a different documentation template (e.g. a blank template) that I can use to write other documentation such as letters of medical necessity, consultations, doctor's orders, or meeting notes. Some of these are billable services but don't fit into the daily note/SOAP format, and some of these are not billable services. Allow me the option to attach them to appointments, fax them, or just appear in the patient's documentation list.

Select which document to pull forward information
Allow me to select which document I want to pull information forward from. Sometimes I want to bring forward information from a previous session that may have been two weeks ago, versus the most recent session. Or, I may want to pull information from the last daily note onto my progress note/re-assessment.

Don't require daily notes for evaluation appointments
Eliminate the need to write a daily note for an evaluation or progress note appointment. It is redundant since both of those appointments require a report/document already.

Keep feeding therapy separate
Allow me to keep feeding therapy separate from other ST or OT services the child may be receiving. We have kids that see an SLP in the morning for speech and a different (or same) SLP in the afternoon for feeding. We would like to keep the goals separate and make sure the primary diagnosis code for that specific service is populated on the document and claim.

Add a spell-check in Fusion. it would be nice if Fusion had a built-in spell check to catch any spelling errors in my documentation.

Format text in documentation (bold, italicize, etc.)
When completing a document, allow me to change the text so that I can include bolded, italicized, and/or colored text to show different information or highlight important information.

Allow me to assign a primary therapist for each patient so we can make it clear who is responsible for completing progress notes for that patient.

Allow me to remove patients from the Docs tab → Patients & Goals. I may have only treated a patient once for another therapist and I no longer need them displayed.

When adding and creating goals for a patient, allow me to save the goal to my clinic's goal bank.

Track physician signatures on the Plan of Care
Allow me a way to track if we have received a signed POC from a physician. We need to make sure physicians sign our POCs and there's no way to track that in Fusion.

Allow me to pull information from a daily note into an evaluation-type document.

View patient attendance from within an evaluation-type document
Allow me to view the patient's attendance when writing an evaluation-type document because we have to include how many sessions the patient attended and canceled. It would be easier to view this information from within the note rather than having to exit out and look it up.

Pull forward patient history from one discipline's evaluation to another
For patient's that see multiple disciplines, allow the history to pull forward onto each evaluation so that it doesn't have to be typed out every time.
