Patient Cases or Episodes of Care
I want to keep distinct cases or episodes of care for a patient that get archived when they are discharged for that service.
17 votesYou can now add custom therapy cases to Fusion, such as "Feeding", that therapists from multiple service types can work with if needed. This means, for example, that a patient could have an OT case and a Feeding case, and an OT therapist could work with both of those cases separately!
You can also rename your clinic's existing cases, such as changing "OT" to "Occupational Therapy".

Separate treatments within a service type
I want the ability to separate treatments for a patient when services are provided by the same discipline. For example, if a patient is seen for OT but is treated for feeding and sensory processing, I want information for these treatments separated (such as goals, authorizations, visits, etc.).

This also means when you pull forward information in a document, it will pull from the previous document for that specific case.

Add gender in the patient's information
Allow me to select which gender the patient identifies with. We have patients that identify as transgender and we would like to notate that in their record.

Allow me to print the patient's information or face sheet so that the patient/caregiver can review the information and make notes of any changes.

Create appointment note from patient's appointment list
Sometimes I need to cancel multiple appointments for a patient. It's easier to do this from the patient's appointment list, but I'd like to be able to create an appointment note from this screen to indicate the reason for canceling.

Copy address to guarantor
Have the patient's or parent's address automatically populate as the guarantor's address, or allow me the option to copy it over so that I don't have to type it twice.
29 votesThis update needs some background information for context: When a guarantor’s Relationship is “Self”, Fusion is already using the patient’s and primary contact’s information for that guarantor (such as on claims)—it just looked like you needed to add the information again because the fields were blank in the guarantor’s information.
We’ve enhanced the Guarantor section to clarify what information actually gets used when Relationship is “Self”! Fusion will now lock those fields and show what information from the patient or primary contact will be used.

Preview files
Allow me to preview uploaded files to the patient information so that I don't have to download them.

Auto-populate City & State when Entering Zip Code
When I enter the zip code in the patient information screen, have Fusion automatically populate the city and state.
21 votesFusion will now auto-populate the city and state, given the zip code. This will only occur if the city and state fields are blank prior to the zip being entered.

Remember my selected date range
When viewing documentation or appointments from the patient's information, after I set a date range, keep that date rage across all patients if I open a new patient.

View documents awaiting cosign in the patient's document list
When viewing the patient's list of documents, allow me to see documents that are pending co-sign because I could view this information in old Fusion.

Change label of payer ID field
Change the label of the Payer ID field to something like Member ID, Patient ID, or just ID. Payer ID is confusing and misleading.

Don't change "created by" name on case notes
When someone opens a note to view the entire note and then clicks "save", the "created by" name gets changed to their name. Don't change the "created by" name so that we know who the note originated from.

Keep selected filters for patient documents and appointments
When I view a patient's appointment list and filter to a specific date range, keep that same date range if I view a different patient's appointment list. Old Fusion kept the date range across all patients when I searched. When I'm reviewing appointments for multiple patients I usually keep the same date range and I don't want to have to change this every time.

Add "Other" Option to Referred By
In the patient information screen, allow me to choose an "other" option for who referred the patient.

Add Filters to Appointments List
Allow me to filter the appointments list by service type, appointment type, or appointment status.

Search patient's full name
Allow me to search patients by first and last name and not either or.

Auto-Populate Hyphen In Phone Numbers
When inputting a phone number in the patient's information, have the hyphen between number sets automatically populate so that I don't have to type those in.
1 votePhone numbers automatically format after saving. For example, if a phone number is entered as 1234567890, after saving it will appear as (123) 456-7890.
