In the Verification section of the patient's information, allow me to record numbers for the Family Deductible and the Family Out of Pocket because right now I can only include information related to the individual.

Generate school/work excuse note
Allow therapists to generate a letter of absence to the patient's school or work. Sometimes patients are seen during school or work hours and they need a note.

Transfer patients from one Fusion account to another
Sometimes we have patients that are sent to us from another clinic or are leaving to go to another clinic. If that clinic also uses Fusion, allow me to transfer the patient's information and documentation to that clinic's Fusion account.

Display the patient's date of birth when searching for a patient in the search field because sometimes we have patients with the same or similar names.

Deduct visits from authorizations retroactively
If I add an authorization for a given date range, have Fusion deduct the visits already used. Sometimes we forget to add the authorization and we've already seen the patient a couple of times.

Click to preview files
When I click a file in the patient's information, open the preview rather than the edit.

Track calendar year visits separately from authorizations
Some patients have a yearly visit limit and it would be helpful to track that separately from authorizations in Fusion because they are handled differently.

Allow different co-pay amount per service type
Allow me to set the co-pay amount based on the service type. Right now there is only one co-pay field per payer and we have payers that set different co-pay amounts based on the type of therapy.

Select state from drop-down by typing
When filling in a patient's contact information and selecting the state, allow me to type in two laters for the state (e.g. "MD") and have that populate.

Click file name to open
For files that are uploaded to the patient's information, clicking the file name will prompt me to change the file name. In old Fusion, clicking the file name downloaded the document. Change it so when I click the file name, it downloads the document because that's what I'm used to doing.

Allow me to add other race options to the Race drop-down in the patient's information.

Include a communication log in the patient's information
Add a Communication Log to the patient's information screen so we can have a separate place to just note communication with the patient/caregiver. If we need to go back and reference anything it will be easier to find because all of the communication will be in one place.

Allow me to add files to a patient's information in the authorization section. Sometimes we want to view what we've sent, but we don't want to have to dig through all the other files.

Change expected co-pay field in the patient's information based on the remit
If a remit comes back for a patient that displays $0 owed for the co-pay then change the expected co-pay field in the patient's information to reflect that.

Solution for patients in foster care
We service kids in foster care and sometimes they return home to their biological family. Allow us a way to protect the information of the foster family. Sometimes the biological parents request documents that were completed at the time of the child being in foster care.

When viewing the appointment list in the patient's information, display the day of the week the appointment falls on and the location of the appointment.

Automatically add case note when fax/email sent
Automatically add a case note when an email or fax is sent successfully. This would help us keep track of communication for each patient.
