  1. Generate medical record numbers

    We use medical record numbers at our clinic and there isn't a way for me to see what number was last used so that I can assign the next number. Have Fusion generate the next number in the sequence.

  2. Email or text patient contacts

    Allow me to send out texts or emails to parents notifying them if a therapist is going to be out due to illness. Also, allow me to send out mass texts or emails for weather-related closings or holidays.

  3. Increase character limit for file names

    When I upload files, allow me to type longer files names. The character limit for file names was larger in old Fusion and now my file names are getting cut off in the update.

  4. Add inclusion terms to diagnosis codes

    Add all the inclusion terms for an ICD 10 diagnosis code. For example, F80.0 is listed in Fusion as Phonological Disorder, but it also includes Dyslalia, Lalling, Lisping, etc. Have the code include all of the terms listed.

  5. Larger check boxes throughout Fusion

    The check boxes in Fusion are small and difficult to see (e.g. in the patient's documentation center). Make them bigger so that they are easier to see and select.

    Allow me to add case notes to a patient's information that can't be seen by other staff members. There may be sensitive information that we need to document.

  7. Don't allow therapists to delete case notes

    Don't allow therapists to delete case notes. Only allow admins to delete case notes so that a therapist doesn't accidentally delete important information.

  8. Editing patient information

    In old Fusion, the fields were already editable in the Patient Information screen. Now I have to click into the box to edit the information and it takes more time.

  9. View all case notes

    Allow me to view all of the case notes without having to click "View All". Sometimes we need to access case notes quickly and not having them all displayed adds an extra step.

    Additionally, allow me to view all the text in the case note without having to open it as I could in old Fusion.

  10. Move case notes & files above payer information

    When viewing patient information, move Case Notes and Files up so that all the payer information is listed last. Therapists often view and write case notes or upload files and I don’t want everyone scrolling through billing information in order to get there.

    Allow me to indicate when the patient is available for appointments and access that information somewhere in Fusion.
