Confirm/cancel appointments from patient appointment reminders
Allow patients to confirm or cancel an appointment from the text and/or email reminders they receive.

Make this optional for type of appointment. I don't want weekly appointments to be able to cancel this easily or we will have attendance issues. This would be great for evaluation appointments or new client appointments though.

Email only option so clinics don't have to pay more for EVERY text.
Add our cancelation policy when they cancel.
However we need to make this a little more challenging - like link to their portal - (if you cancel you will need to do so on the portal - and add the reasons for canceling with awareness that too many canceled appts may loose your therapy spot. -

Two-way texting with the appointment reminders.

This would be a great option for our clinic. If we knew in advance that a patient was unable to attend, we can make attempts to fill this time with another patient, or rearrange the therapists schedule.

I would love for patients to confirm to reminder text and then put into the schedule so we can see if they have confirmed or not.

Do not do this! This idea makes it way too easy for patients to cancel appointments, which cost clinics money in the end. We have a no show policy that charges patient if they don't show up or call to cancel ahead of time.

I would love to be able to change the message in the text message reminder. It would be fabulous to have the option for the parent to press 1 to confirm or press 2 to cancel. This was the reminder system in my previous EMR and I liked the fact that I knew if the parent had confirmed the appointment without having to call and receive a verbal confirmation for a weekly appointment.

When text reminders are sent it would be nice to be able to confirm or cancel appt via reply. Then have reply visible on schedule.

Appointment Confirmation (Status update). Text message or email confirmations that are sent have a reply option that allows a family to confirm their appointment. It does not allow them to cancel though - they must call the office to rescheduled for that. The schedule will then reflect that they've confirmed their appointment with a status update of "confirm" which shows up as a thumbs up - similar to the check mark and X for signed in and canceled. Our office staff can also manually change the status to "confirmed" if we reach out to them by phone.

I am wondering if you plan to add appointment confirmation to text reminders in the future. This has shown to be a big factor in decreasing no-shows.
Thanks you for your consideration.

Let my clients reply to the text appointment reminders they receive.

This would be amazing

We have a lot of caregivers that attempt to reply to the text message reminders because they don't see the "Do not reply" at the end. Make this stand out more so parents don't try to respond about appointments.

It would be great if the automated texts could say "do not reply to this number" or have an option to add a number to reply to. We've had patients text that number with questions a few times in the past.

For text reminders it would be really helpful if the families could respond to them by confirming it or requesting a phone call so we know that they have seen the text and are planning on coming or we need to call and discuss.

Please build an option for the text message reminders that go out to have a conformation option. It should only be to confirm their appointment. If they want to cancel they should have to call the office. Once they confirm it should notify in fusion somehow. I believe clinic source has that option if you guys want to take a look. Thanks!
