We’ve made a few changes in Fusion based on the feedback you sent us about saving sections in Patient Information and Documentation. You no longer have to click the save button for each section you’re working on! Sections now automatically save when you click out of a section. You also have the option to click the Save or Cancel buttons.
When you have a chance, switch over to the update to check it out! Thank you!

Mark an appointment as patient canceled or clinic canceled
Let me mark an appointment as "patient canceled" vs "clinic canceled" so I can differentiate between those that should count toward the patient and those that should not.
66 votesWhen canceling an appointment, you’ll now indicate whether the appointment was canceled by the patient or the clinic! You can use the new “Clinic Canceled” status when you don’t want it to count toward the patient.

Select which document to pull forward information
Allow me to select which document I want to pull information forward from. Sometimes I want to bring forward information from a previous session that may have been two weeks ago, versus the most recent session. Or, I may want to pull information from the last daily note onto my progress note/re-assessment.
63 votesYou can now add custom therapy cases to Fusion, such as "Feeding", that therapists from multiple service types can work with if needed. This means, for example, that a patient could have an OT case and a Feeding case, and an OT therapist could work with both of those cases separately!
This also means that when you pull forward in a document, information will be pulled from the previous document for the specific case you're working on!

Patient wait list
For patients that are referred but we don't have the availability to schedule them yet, allow me to keep their names on a wait list so that when an appointment becomes available we can call the next person on the list.

Keep feeding therapy separate
Allow me to keep feeding therapy separate from other ST or OT services the child may be receiving. We have kids that see an SLP in the morning for speech and a different (or same) SLP in the afternoon for feeding. We would like to keep the goals separate and make sure the primary diagnosis code for that specific service is populated on the document and claim.

Sort/filter documentation
Allow me to sort or apply filters to my documentation in the Docs tab (e.g. daily notes, progress notes, etc.) so that I can sort or filter the documents by appointment date, patient name, charges submitted, etc.

Show subject when viewing a message
When opening a message, show the subject at the top of the message. Sometimes therapists put the patient name in the subject, but not in the body, which means I have to close the message in order to view the patient name.
