Track authorizations by units and/or visits
Allow me to track authorizations by units and/or visits. We have some payers that authorize by units for some patients and visits for other patients. It would be less headache for me if I didn't have to convert one or the other and I could track both.

It would be VERY helpful if we could set tracking for Authorizations for Units/Visits differently for each discipline.

Definitely need to allow specification of units or visits by authorization and not by payer! Most of our patients are Medicaid with UNITS for OT and VISITS for speech.

I am voting important, but I thought we are already tracking these? We enter how many units or visits and then as they are checked in AND the report is signed off, it already deducts from the units remaining.

Each authorization needs to give you the option to click whether the auth is based on units or visits. TRICARE for example authorizes VISITS for ST/OT/PT but authorizes UNITS for ABA so we can not track both correctly.

Add a place to the authorizations to allow us to select whether the auth is for visits or units. We see TRICARE patients for ST/OT/PT/ABA, for ST/OT/PT they authorize by number of visits, for ABA they authorize by the number of units. We need to be able to toggle which is authorized on each auth units or visits instead of setting it up under the specific payer since it varies by service type. It also wouldn't hurt if an auth would allow you to track both. We also get some auths that auth both units and visits.

I'd like the option to use both units and visits in the payer authorizations, not designate one. A payer may designate a certain number of visits per year, and we keep track of that in the authorization section (because it does not track anywhere else in Fusion). However, other clients that have that payer and need authorization are granted authorizations for OT in units. We currently cannot track both for the same payer because a designation is required (units or visits). I'd like to have both boxes blank so I can fill in the one that applies to that particular patient as needed.

Allow differentiation of authorizations to be entered by UNIT for PT/OT OR by event/day for ST within each funding source.
Currently the units are EITHER by 15-minute units or event, only differentiated by funding sources. -

When we enter an authorization we should be able to choose wether it is tracking visits or units because some of our insurances vary by which service and some of our services vary by which insurance wether we need to track visits or units. --

Clinic has a payer that gives auths for some patients in units and others in visits. They would like to add the ability to have some patients do one type and other to the other auth type, which means that the payer manager needs to allow more then 1 option.
